The Puerto Rican Yellow Chili is an extremely high-yielding variety with bright yellow, lantern-shaped, spicy and juicy fruits. The leaves and stem have a light violet colouring and the chilies have a violet sun protection, which harmonises nicely with the green and later the yellow. The chilies have a fantastic, fruity flavour, therefore they are most suitable for making spicy, fruity sauces. They are also good dried, and are suitable for making into a spicy yellow chili powder.
